Trying to find people with the right skills in this industry is quite difficult, so if we grow our own through Enable Futures, as it were, we teach them as we want them to be taught and train them up in the ways that the business needs to be able to grow.

What was initially a six-month trial, led onto an 18 month partnership and a full time role for Cara within group. This has now moved onto a wider partnership with us and Enable Futures to recruit for a further 2 apprentices.

The real value of working with Enable Futures is that they do all the leg work involved with finding, hiring and managing our apprentices. We work on sites at lots of different locations throughout the year, and ENF will always make sure the apprentices are able to start as soon as possible on those different sites. I consider ENF as a key part of the team.

Enable Futures FAQ's

Answers to common questions about pricing and products

Apprentices have had a positive impact on productivity within most businesses; the reason why, not only does training help them to become more competent and proficient in their roles, but an apprentice can also free up time for more senior staff to focus on key areas of their work, while the apprentice takes care of everyday tasks to work towards their skills and competencies.

Apprentices enable you to develop vital skills that are relevant to your business.

Our service is simple, flexible and easy to access. We take the risk and work out of you employing an apprentice directly, allowing you to concentrate on your business. We source the training and the funding required and manage a rigorous recruitment process from start to finish, employing the apprentice ourselves, saving you both time and money.

When an Enable Futures apprentice is on your project, you and the apprentice are guaranteed our full support for the duration of the placement and beyond.

For many, an apprenticeship is likely to be their first full-time job. A young person needs a period of adjustment to get used to the differences between education and the workplace, and our Apprenticeship Managers are experts at helping apprentices make the transition. Let us employ, manage and support your apprentices for you.

We provide pastoral guidance on issues outside of the workplace, academic collaboration with colleges to ensure successful completion, and reliable in-work support for both the apprentice and the host. An Enable Futures managed apprentice allows you to get on with what you do best.

We can provide suitable candidates at all apprenticeship levels, starting at Level 2, through to Degree level. We will consider any type of position within Construction and the built environment, agriculture and environmental, and engineering and manufacturing including supporting roles such as administration, procurement, marketing, IT and many more.

Host Employers are charged a weekly fee for all apprentice hours worked on site and at college. Included in this fee is a contribution towards initial recruitment costs, a CSCS card & basic PPE, the apprentice pay and travel allowance, plus ongoing apprentice management, HR and payroll.
